It would have been really helpful if some doctor had mentioned the possibility to me before I burned my boobs off attached to a pump and dealing with taping formula tubes to my chest when my dc was newborn.

You are literally wasting your time not going to a plastic surgeon. Why ask your doctor about something they may have seen once or twice instead of asking a doctor who does this for a living? Your pediatrician is going to just tell you they may even out. Your daughter will be better served with a plastic surgeon.
As someone who has lived this, PLEASE just take your daughter to a plastic surgeon to understand a)what the issues are (or are not) and b)what the options are.
Do not listen to the posters saying it’s not a birth defect. They don’t know. A plastic surgeon will. Just make the appointment. Georgetown is a good place to start.

I’d appreciate if my post would not be deleted this time.
If the responder could please post what her birth defect was that uneven breasts were the symptom, I would really appreciate it. I will mention it to my child’s doctor at her next appointment.

Why is your title in quotes and why are you rolling your eyes?
Because my first post title was offensive to many who are not comfortable with naming appropriate anatomical body parts with the teen’s age (13) and it was deleted, which is shocking to me considering what else is allowed to be posted on this forum without condemnation. I changed the title to one of the suggestions of an offended previous poster in the deleted thread and wanted to give that person credit, so I put it in quotes.
Ridiculous? Yes, I agree.
