Subject: Incredibly exhausted 2 weeks after covid diagnosis

I am 10 past testing positive and several days past a runny nose. (Never had a cough or fever.)
I am exhausted! I go to work and crash every day after I get home.
I hope all of the PP’s are on the upswing. This is crushing.
Pleas try to get as much rest as possible, sleep and rest all weekend if you can.

It may take a couple of months to recover OP. Same thing happens to me with the flu or a really bad cold.

Unfortunately a lot of viruses can make you tired for weeks. The best thing you can do is let yourself rest - get lots of sleep, avoid intense exercise. And drink lots of fluids.

NP here.
I just tested Tuesday afternoon (positive).
I definitely don’t feel terrible like I did when I contracted COVID in June 2022.
This is probably day 3 and it’s a runny nose, fatigue and headache / sore throat. Fingers crossed it stays mild!
(I did get a booster 3 months ago.)

So, I apologize for basically sh|t posting, but was just telling my wife a second ago that I thought it was odd that I felt exhausted for the last couple of months and my fatigue didn't get better until *after* I got covid and was able to spend most of the weekend resting.
Maybe you just need another day or two of rest. Sunday was pretty rough for me with a fever. Monday I was tired. But other than a cough and congestion, I feel better today than I have in months.
