My sons roommate was in a significant car accident and a woman on the FB group went to the hospital until the mom arrived, my son appreciated her being there with him
I would never do this but some parents were like “I have nobody to tailgate with” … the son worked the tickets for the game and people invited them it wa so nice.

No such discussion on the board I’m on. Lots of good advice, doctors, car repair, places that will send birthday cakes, what does graduation look like, etc.
Discussions of dorm room decorations.? Is that critical knowledge?
