I’ve only taken one class in Women’s studies at an extremely competitive SLAC and it was one of the most challenging classes at school.
Any class can be easy or hard depending on the curriculum and teacher.

Then you are not well educated. Just go look at the professors in a business school (for both undergrad and the MBA programs). Most have a PHD in something.
For everything except academia though, yes most people only need at most an MBA or a MS in Finance/Accounting/Marketing/etc. People don't get PHDs to work outside of academia. They don't need it, jobs pay extremely well with just a BS or an MBA
