I understand and some years it’s a better match than others. I know several kids who had the vaccine and still got very sick with the flu for several day. It seems like it wasn’t a great match this year.

Anonymous wrote:My flu vaxxed kid was better within 2 days with Tamiflu. Day 1 got prescription, day 2 still had fever, day 3 was fine. Unsure if it was Tamiflu that actually helped, or just being vaxxed shortened it. High fevers/chills/body aches on day 1 - 104.5. Day 2 spiked to 102-ish but body aches gone. Day 3 was just bored at home from school.
