Consolidation is a good thing. There are too many ECNL clubs in northern Virginia. There are girls on my DD’s ECNL team who will never be good enough to play college soccer (D1, 2, or 3) no matter how much coaching or development they get. ECNL is a college soccer pathway - to stay that way there needs to be consolidation in Nova.

I heard this rumor as well last night. I asked one of our directors and he didnt deny it.

I dont believe this one bit but Brave does need to merge with another club. Not sure McLean is the right one,but someone....

ECNL is telling Union and brave boys that they need to do this. Nothing to do with the girls.

Not how it works buddy. Both boys and girls would have to partner.
