Subject: Turn out at FCV GA and Revolution GA tryouts this week?
It won't matter what player ls they get. The coaches are known losers when it comes to winning games. They coach teams with guaranteed playing time which equates to losing more than half their games. ED was known to "develop" players but none of his players were ready to play GA. BP whipped them into shape and they still lost a lot of games. Many of the legacy FCV players got moved to ga2 and the team won zero games. Anyone following due to coaching is a fool. Marvin runs his practice like PE class. Water break every five minutes.

No one has to "make things up" to say something negative about the GA when they themselves announce that they're accepting a club based on nothing more than "vision" and "infrastructure". I couldn't make something that good up if I tried!
So much hate, jealousy, just plain anger from ECNL lovers against GA…..just pipe down and let Revolution have their tryouts and time will tell….if someone wants to invest in a facility to provide a positive atmosphere for kids to train and get better….why you care what their record will be.

This whole ECNL vs GA is hilarious.

Why can’t both leagues exist in harmony? All of you are acting like this is the Middle East.

The lengths some of the ECNL parents go through to try and say something negative about GA.
Think about it...
1. No GA parent is going to say anything negative about GA tryouts.
2. Unless theyre spying fron a distance in the trees ECNL parents have no idea what GA tryouts look like. UNLESS they're at the tryouts with their kid!.
3. ECNL parents are making things up to try and say something negative about GA.
Oh, and BTW.... Confirmed!

Was at the Sportsplex for DS's practice on an adjacent field last night while an older girls age group was at the stadium for GA tryouts. If the players that I saw last night are an indication of the talent level that they're going to have, it might be a tough year for them in the GA.

About 30 girls were at the 06/07 tryouts last night. Looked like a lot of Revolution players but also saw a few other clubs’ backpacks. Didn’t see any FCV GA players but I’m sure they were told they didn’t need to tryout. There were a couple of FCV United players that I recognized. Without knowing how many existing FCV GA players are planning to move over there, it will be hard to know what team you’d actually end up on if you accept an offer. I’ve heard enough “bait and switch” / “broken promise” stories from other people to realize the that not every offer is going to work out the way you expect it to. ☹️

What would you have them do?
The former FCV staff know the players, they coached the players for years. Do you believe known players should have to openly tryout because they are changing a jersey?
"New" kids need to try out not known kids.

Mid-Atlantic GA teams from outside Northern VA will be spending a lot of time in Virginia. I'm sure they're not thrilled about that, however, it'll probably be 3 easy wins, 4 if you include Skyline. So, then, not that bad a trade-off.

Unless they can pull existing ECNL/GA players from other clubs (which is very unlikely), Revolution doesn’t have a choice but to grandfather FCV GA (and truth be told, even FCV United players) if they don’t want to be the laughing stock of the Mid-Atlantic region. Their own teams are bottom feeders in EDP and NCSL. Can you imagine how their first season in GA will go if they have to take their existing teams and make them their GA teams? It would be a bloodbath and you can be certain that they know it.
