There's another scenario here where pity sex make the marriage not sexless. This is how things are with me and DH. The wincing, grossed out looks he gives me during sex make it not worth it or satisfying. I could get more love from a cheap male escort. We're not in a sexless marriage but I'm not sure what's worse.

No. I’d want intimacy and physical touch in other ways but I really like DH and no way would I leave over sex, alone.

Lack of sex was a symptom of much bigger problems. We divorced when the youngest child was in college. Much happier now.

Depends on not only the reason but also the resolution. I am a woman in a sexless marriage, we cant even talk about it bc my DH doesnt like to talk about sex. So there is no sex, no “everything but”, not even a discussion about why we havent had sex and what we would like to do about it. Not a surprise, there are other areas we dont see eye to eye and cant talk about. We are divorcing bc of all of it combined.
