Make sure you enjoy your major. If you don’t, change it even if it means an extra semester or two to graduate. Don’t pick a major based on ease of employment. Think of what you’ll enjoy doing as a profession.

Figure out what you want to do with your life!!

Think more about how you envision yourself 10, 20, 30 years down the line and set goals for getting there.

I have never set a goal and it shows.

I wish I listened to the high school teacher who pulled 12th grade me aside and begged me NOT to go into teaching. She knew what she was talking about.

I would tell my younger self to RUN far away from that education degree. I'd encourage her to get a speech path degree instead.

I read a study once that fathers of daughters are better bosses to women. It has been true for me- my boss is great at promoting women and giving opportunities.

i don't know what i'd tell my younger self. get more sleep and buy some nicer clothes, and you will find working a lot easier and nicer - that would probably be a big one.

I'm reaping the rewards of listening to my gut instincts my entire career even though I would get contrary advice from others. So - listen to your internal voice. It is there to guide you to your most aligned life.

Don't listen to naysayers or the voice inside that is NOT you - your ego.

There is nothing weak or unambitious about being practical about the kind of family life you hope to have when thinking about careers.

It’s okay to work hard for something and realize it’s not what you wanted after all. Your life and priorities will change. Don’t stick around just because of all the time and energy you spent trying to get there.

This, and I would also tell my younger self, "Don't worry about letting go of the brass ring, you're going to love your time with these kids."

Don't stay at mediocre jobs for so long. Changing jobs has consistently netted me a great raise.

I never had an issue not taking PTO - but that should be top on everyones list!
