I agree. Leslie is really the only one fun and energetic enough to carry the lead. Probably the one men will be most interested in. April is too kooky, she’d scare men off. I do think Joan is a possibility, if only because her spouse’s death parallels Gerry’s sad story. Less baggage than Leslie, and comes across as very sincere. But plastic look and low energy not great.


I don't think Joan comes off as sincere at all. She was okay on the show, if a bit dull, but as soon as she left she went all wannabe-influencer.



Well she looks great in clothes so pretty much does fashion-y posts. And poses with friends. That's pretty much it. A little boring and wannabe-influencer I guess, but not the worst.

Everyone has noted it might be hard to find an appealing group of single guys 60+. I mean they clearly thought Gerry was the best they could do for GB...So it could be a matter of picking the guys first then seeing which lady might best fit them?

I think the producers have selected someone. Wouldn't they have to in order to pick the right group of gents for her? They begin filming in a few months. Maybe they're still market testing the pick and doing background research, or maybe they're just playing coy and holding the announcement until the end of Joey's run. But given how much prep time they need to plan everything, fitting with one woman, I do think they must know.

I've noticed the other ladies commenting on Leslie's recent posts. Even if the decision hasn't been made yet, maybe they think she'll be the pick. If she is, nice that they all seem friendly and we'll have lots of cameos. I'm looking forward to the ongoing female friendship vibe more than the dating per se.

Agree. She looks fine, and I think it's very cool she's still doing push-ups. She's just a little too harsh and awkward to be a romantic lead.

The producers definitely highlighted that aspect in the edit. She said she and the ladies had a ton of fun together that wasn’t shown on camera. Her social media makes her seem very active and fun.

I think Golden Bachelorette needs to be minimum 60. Otherwise they’d need to start a Silver franchise.

She's too old. The golden bachelorette will be no older than 65
