+1 yes. They are in complete denial of what people know about though. In the day of social media and journalists who knows better, MCPS is no longer the leader in optics! They need to fix the problems not give the impression they have it under control. Release the IG report if you have nothing to hide, MCPS and BOE and press harder for the release, MoCO Council!
The released IG Report:
"We are unable to reach a firm conclusion because administrators gave evasive statements and withheld evidence."

Tell your child not to record fights.
My child didn’t record it. My child was the victim unfortunately.

I am very sorry OP.
Well the answer depends on many things.
If the video is being spread then the person who spread it could be in a ton of trouble. They filmed a minor and then spread that on social media in MD there is a defamation clause that can be used in a court of law. Especially in the case of a minor.
I would file a police report.

Anonymous wrote:Our school disciplined kids who did this.
Personally I think they should not discipline kids if they take the video immediately to admin, their parents or police, and then delete it. Those kids are providing useful evidence, not spreading trouble.

+1. Because the video makes the school administration look incompetent.
Of course, MCPS only cares about optics.
Just stop it.
