Wonder if juniors are going to be encouraged to aim a bit lower than they had hoped for.

Why wouldn’t RD be tough when the top 20-30 schools will be getting even more applicants than last year? Upwards of 50K or more for 1000 or so slots after ED? Any everyone shotgunning 20+ apps?

Hearing that regular decision will be extremely tough all around even to schools that should be a layup (per our private’s historical admissions data).

I am a different poster and I am so glad some schools are bringing back SAT/ACT testing as mandatory. That is one way to decipher how college ready students are in my opinion.

Some schools they're grading and the way they present the students on their transcripts is hurting their students. There are more beneficial ways to present grades and classes. The schools that have figured that out are doing better in college placement. Simple.
