How do I see this? Where do I look so that I know that all assignments have not been graded?
In parentVue, under grades. But at times teachers dont post the assignments or the grades till much later. What grade is your child?
Go to parentVue->grades-> select mp2 from the drop down
Thank you for this. I didn’t know you could go back and see previous marking periods. Now I’m even more confused. He has 0 missing assignments, a 98.95%, and a C.
I think the C is for Consistently participating in class. Not a letter grade for the course.
This is correct. He has an A for the class, the C is for consistent. It means he’s a great student. Read the report card thoroughly. Look at the key/legend on the back. Well done to your child!
I'm hoping you are correct. The line reads:
Grade= C
P* = O
AC* = C

Yes. Interestingly, only the class in question has the P* and AC* entries. I emailed the teacher earlier. Hopefully he will get back to me this afternoon. I'll wait to see what he says before moving on to the guidance counselor.

I don’t see any P* or AC* categories. This is a high school report card? It are you looking at something else? Are you looking at the document on ParentVue or something your kid bought home from school? Is it even for the right kid? None of this is adding up.
Following up, those categories are middle school report card categories. Are you sure this is a current report card for your 9th grader?

If he says he does not, then have HIM email the teacher (watch him do it if you must). Its important for kids to learn how to self advocate at this age. Teachers shouldn't have to deal with parent emails every time a child gets a lower grade.
