Totally agree. I would say 90% of songs you hear on the radio are about the themes of loss, heartache, break ups. And Taylor famously has created characters for her songs, and told stories through them… Not every line of her songs are biographical people.
Are they so explicitly about specific people though? And every person they dated? It's adding up to a lot at this point.
Especially when it's obviously all of these "I have never been happier" stories with Matty/Travis is just to get back at her ex.

You haven't even heard the album yet. You can't seriously think you know it's a revenge album based on the titles alone, right? Because that would be silly and a bit unhinged.

Choosing that timing does not feel like a coincidence, especially given the album title and track list.
She seems like a spiteful, mean little person. She's very publicly been linked to two guys since she and Alwyn split, and he hasn't been romantically linked to anyone (again, fans just decided he was dating his costar based on nothing). He is minding his own business, she is making drama. What a messy ______.
I don't even like Joe Alwyn. I didn't make it past 2 episodes of Conversations with Friends, it was so boring. But he doesn't seem like a villain worth torturing.
Do you think maybe she had a different relationship to him and knew him better than watching 1.5 episodes of a tv show?
Chris Rock suggested he wanted to talk shi_ about his ex but he would not do it because he has the platform and she doesn’t.

Well duh, of course. That doesn't mean I think he deserves to get publicly dragged by Taylor and her legion of obsessives for whatever flaws he might have or mistakes he made. She dated him for 6 years so he can't have been total trash. It would be different if I thought she was going to be singing about the relationship generally, but boy do those track titles make it seem like it's mostly just going to be about what is wrong with him. Maybe I'm wrong.
It feels different going after an ex who she was in a more substantial relationship with, and at an older age. There's also just something about the way she does it, for the glee and entertainment of her fans. Lots of artists write about their relationships. But with the easter eggs and the secret codes, her version feels like a reality show to me. Emotional sport hunting. It feels gross.

You said what I was thinking. I don’t think a person deserves this and she’s using her platform against a far less powerful person.
She seems spiteful to me now. Between this and her hot mess of a Grammy acceptance speech (both were a mess), I’ve begun to question if I want to keep listening to her songs.
