omg. I once saw that at a stop light. A grown man, 30s, kind of good looking, until the finger went into his mouth after picking his nose.

Why do people do this?

I never do this in public, ever. Then just once when I was recovering from being sick I had a part of my nose that felt uncomfortable- almost sharp. I look out the car window nobody around.

The one time I do something about it and put a finger at my nostril wouldn’t you know that a car rolls up next to me looks up (in laughter ) all while I have a finger at my nose. Even worse I realize I know them. I was mortified.

When I see the person in front of me watching me, I pretend to pick my nose

Yes I watch all drivers - behind, in front, to the sides - for safety reasons. I stay alert and I leave space between my car and the one in front of me whenever possible in case I need to make a quick escape. I'm female, it matters.
