For the senior meet, NCSA has harder cuts for all events. NCSAs is a national meet. For the women's distance events, cuts are harder for NCSAs than for Futures.

ASA has some fast swimmers, but it's a smaller club by comparison to NCAP and RMSC. Still, ISCA is both a fun and competitive meet. As for missing school, it all depends on what the real impact is on learning. I've seen plenty of parents taking their kids on vacations during non-break periods.

Okay, whoever keeps comparing these two meets as the same (for age group) needs to stop. ICSA is MUCH easier to get into whereas NCSA has tough cuts.

I wish our team did ISCA as a meet, so many kids would be able to go.

I have a good swimmer but no matter what academics are going to come first. ICSA is that week because more of the US has that time off and it is Florida school's spring break.

I'm surprised that many teams are going given the timing. ISCA is fun (and a money grab), but not worth missing that much school.

Hahaha. I don't think ICSA is much of a thing in this area. I assume the clubs know it is a fun travel meet and possibly a money grab.
