There is another thread where a couple of people reported heart palpitations while on it. My derm said to google side effects when she offered it to me and was kind of noncommittal about side effects on the heart (it’s a low dose so probably won’t hurt) so I passed.

A good cut is essential. I color mine which gives some added thickness to my existing very fine hair, and I have very strategic highlights that make it look fuller. I also style every day - to add volume. It’s a pain but I get a decent result.

How do you see the views? People thought Ozempic wasn’t life changing until it was popularized…once people recognize that oral minoxidil words, more people will comment.

Question for those on oral rogain. Does the hair grow long or just short stubby hairs? I have curly hair and the frizz would be horrible but I really need to do something.

Not a miracle drug, it didn’t work for me. I was on 1.25mg and after six months my doctor agreed he didn’t see a difference, and he didn’t think we should up the dosage.


It is for me. I have more hair growing all over but just decided ill shave more.

My hair got thinner for the first 2 months, which is expected, then I started to notice it getting thicker again about 3 months in. Now 5 months in, it's nice and thick at the roots, creating volume, but am waiting for it to grow so the density reaches the length. Every chop that gets better.
