My DH is 5'6" and had no trouble attracting me (and a lot of other women in our office and social circle). Height likely isn't the issue.

Tell him to move to Asia. He'll be a giant!

A short guy with all you are describing OP should have zero problems dating. So maybe he’s dating and you don’t know about it.

When I was in college there was a handsome guy down the hall who was about your son's height. He was charming and confident. Every time a girl said his name, some other girl would respond "Height doesn't matter when you're lying down!" and all the girls would laugh together. He was VERY popular.

I'm 5'10" and my dh is 5'6", we've been married 20 years. I was considered "tall" and had the experience of men refusing to date me, so knew what it was like to have something about yourself you couldn't control. And shorter guys seemed to love me as I was.

Just convinced a 5'8" friend of mine to give a shorter guy a chance and now they've been together a year, and he's the best guy she's dated in decades.

I dated a guy who was 5'3" once. He was honestly one of my best boyfriends lol. Incredibly smart and funny and sexy. I am short though (also 5'3"). Maybe if I were taller I wouldn't have dated him.

OP here —I really appreciate all of the replies. He hasn’t said anything to me and I will never bring it up to him. I saw an article recently about men having plastic surgery to make themselves taller and it made me start thinking about it. Appreciate the reassurance

Probably the biggest ladies man I know is about 5’6”. He’s just a lot of fun to be around. Like, you know when you go out with him you’re gonna have a lot of laughs and there wilñ always be hot women in orbit. His current wife is beautiful, very successful and half his age.

I had two friends in high school that would be considered short for men, one was 5 6 the other was 5 6 but said he was 5 8.

The kid that lied and was insecure about his height had a tough time with women whereas the other one who didn’t had no problem at all. The kid that had no problem with his height was a great dancer, funny and confident and girls loved him, the other was also an excellent dancer, extraordinarily funny but that lack of confidence did not throw switches in girls.

Yup, as an Asian female I had plenty of options in my 20s but I ultimately married DH who is 5’ 6”. He is a good earner, a good husband and a good dad. I consider myself pretty lucky.
