+1 Following threads on instate MD schools. I have a junior hyperfocused on UMD but need to be ready for SMCM, umbc or Towson as a back-up. I think these will all get more competitive this year and beyond. Hopefully my second kid who is a B student will still have a chance in a few years!

SMCM accepted our B student test-optional kid. Kid declined - too far out in the sticks. We all hated the drive there.
