These days, there's so much junk online that I would head to the Green Front warehouse in Manassas and pick something out in person. Most of what they carry is good quality and a lot is made in America.

I have this very inexpensive tufted chair in my bedroom corner and it's surprisingly comfortable and very pretty. I added a floor lamp and a little ottoman and it's very cute.

People rave about this inexpensive chair designed by Drew Barrymore and it's apparently very comfortable. For a bedroom corner you will not use daily, i would consider it.
