DS is taking it this week. After the test, maybe I'll ask him about whether this matches up.




My older DC took the make up test a few years back. He got a different set of problems/prompts.

I think some of the typically "underachieving" middle schools got tours; not every kid grows up knowing what TJ is and maybe seeing it could inspire them to think about applying.

I also have a child that takes it tomorrow. I'm actually happy for the students from URM schools that they got to take tours of TJ that other schools didn't had the chance for, and now receive TJ PREP and mock exams that other students have been vehemently accused for. Kudos to the district for leveling the play field.


No prep or tour offered at our MS.

Too Asian/white privileged, I suppose.

Are you serious? Haha. I thought every MS took a tour? The school provided prep is wierd. I kind of doubt that, but it wouldn’t surprise me.
