Use it from day 1, I waited and my daughter hated it, ended up being an overpriced bassinet, but she did sleep.

We loved our snoo. We did weaning mode from day 1, arms in until around 4 months then shifted to arms out; we had absolutely no issues transitioning her out when the time came. We did all sleep in the snoo until about 1 week before she turned 6 months. At that point, we did naps in the crib and night sleep in the snoo. At 6 months, we moved all sleep to the snoo and like I said, we had no issues. She didn’t seem to miss a beat.

OP I made a plan for my child’s sleeping arrangements before birth (didn’t involve a snoo) and then we followed that plan and…it was all very boring. You will be just fine.

For my first, I started on wean mode. I mean, I actually started with a normal setting and my baby freaked out so I quickly moved it to wean. I didn't even use the app- just powered it on. I think we just left it on wean. power on. power off. Super simple. He transitioned to a normal crib at 4 months.
