5’3”. I don’t think I have too many bad habits other than the wine. I could eat fewer carbs and exercise more but truly the only thing that changed was the wine and I worry I did so much damage that I won’t be able to lose it just by not drinking for a few months.

I am so frustrated. I only realized because none of my clothes fit. It’s largely contained to my gut but I wouldn’t mind toning up all over.
Anyone know how to do this fairly quickly, like 4-6 weeks? Obviously starving myself and exercising two hours a day is not the answer but I would like to be able to wear my clothes again.
No, actually this is the answer, if you’re trying to lose 20 lbs in 4-6 week. Though I don’t recommend it.

You need to get down to around 1500 cal a day to do this or get close in that amount of time. Most people don't have the discipline to do commit to this because it's too hard. But, that's what you'll need to do. Good luck and keep us posted on your progress.
No way, that's way too much to lose 20 pounds in 28-42 days. 15 pounds is equal to a 52000 calorie deficit. That's a 1250 calorie deficit a day if you are doing this in 6 weeks. If OP is normally eating 2000 calories a day, that's starvation mode.
I’m pretty sure I was drinking most of my calories fwiw. I think eating I was probably closer to 1500-1800. I actually do not eat a ton.
