I definitely agree on the Le Creuset and All Clad cookware. (LC bakeware is trash. Avoid it.) They are such high quality and have lasted us since our wedding seven years ago. But I’m surprised by the people who say they their items “look like new.” Mine look really good, but they are far from spotless. Am I doing something wrong?

What makes Spirit or Frontier unsafe? I’ve flown on both and while they suck for various reasons, I’ve never felt unsafe. Alaska and Southwest are the ones with recent safety disasters. If United starts flying the 737 Max again, I’d consider it an unsafe airline.

I don’t understand this at all. Safety is regulated by the government. There are reasons to dislike discount airlines, but this isn’t one of them.


I don't think you understand the airline industry very well. Boeing is self-regulated.

Expensive plane tickets. I am an extremely frequent traveler. OP doesn’t know how to do it. Spirit isn’t usually my best option, but when it is, it is. Nothing unsafe about it at all. And luggage is for slow travelers; backpacks work everywhere.
