At least Pelosi had enough sense to step away from her leadership role in congress albeit a few years too late. Could Trump, Biden, McConnell and a handful of the other elderly politicians do us a favor by seeing that writing on the wall? Heck no. Their greed for power is too strong to take a backseat to righteousness.

This just shows how out of touch the party’s leadership is with the rank and file. This explains why the democrats are unable to capitalize on Trump and the destruction of the Republican Party.
There is no way the Trump and the Republicans should be within 10-20% of Dems. Another old white women hold on to their power way too long.
