netflix's best days were 2003-2008 i swear. $9.99/mo, 3 DVDs at a time, unlimited. new releases always came out on tuesdays and i knew the day to return my rentals in the mail to get the new tuesday release.
Yes I so looked forward to getting my DVD's! Netflix is so junky now and hard to find the decent stuff. I am fatigued by all the different streaming services and figuring out which ones have the movies I want to see. Maybe I will get MUBI as I miss my arthouse films.

I wanted to watch something that only went to Apple, another to Peacock after brief theatrical releases. I have neither and both movies cost $20 to rent on Amazon Prime. The theater would have been cheaper!
Also, need to remind husband to get rid of Amazon Prime as price is going up.
Too many services, too expensive.
Yes cancel Amazon. Door dash will grind them into dust.

Cable TV?
I predicted this from the beginning and we are still in the infancy of platforms, this will get exponentially more difficult. It’s such a treat to go to my parents turn on the tv and within seconds I’m scanning my favorite channels I have memorized since I was a kid. TV used to be such a treat.

Google Search for the media, and it will tell you where you can rent it.
Most everything is available somewhere for either $5 to watch, or for $20/month or less. Some is free with ads.
Make an account in every site, and pay for which one you need right now, for the minimum term (one show or one month).

Yes! I miss my directv and DVR where I had all my favorite movie saved. I admit, I still keep my dvds and blu-rays of favorite movies so I can watch them without paying for them twice.
