Economy is great.
Inflation is down and metrics show the cause was the COVID spike, not "bidenomics"
Border is an issue. Why won't the GOP land the plane on the bi-parisan bill?
Beyond that, manufacturing is up, oil prices down, infrastructure investments are up...there is a lot to be proud of. What will the GOP campaign on other than grievance?
The economy is great? You think the United States economy is doing great?
Have you shopped for a home, car, groceries, paid utility bills, etc, lately?
WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Americans’ already negative assessments of the U.S. economy have become slightly worse in September, both in their perception of current economic conditions and their outlook for the economy’s direction.
In this month’s update, 20% of U.S. adults say economic conditions are “excellent” or “good,” while 32% call them “only fair” and 48% “poor.” The overall positive rating is down slightly from 23% in August, while the poor rating is up from 42% and is the highest Gallup has seen in a year.

Inflation's impact may even go beyond the immediate pressure on Americans' pocketbooks, to a larger sense that it is stifling opportunity in America and the deeper sense that the nation's economic troubles of recent years have been, as a whole, tougher than others it has faced in generations.
So, even amid stronger jobs reports and economists' talk of "soft landings," people say they still pay more attention to their own experiences than to macroeconomic measures — and an overwhelming number say their incomes aren't keeping pace.

And all polls show horrendous polling for Biden on key metrics like economy and border, among others. It's clear the only thing saving Biden is Trump. But then again Trump is leading in the polls, something he never did in 2020.
We'll see what happens.
