For aerospace, mechanical.

And there's tons of good options. OP and their kid just needs to be a little more aware.

It's a hard program everywhere. But, you do not need the aerospace major.

Instate for UMD but he really doesn’t want to be so close to home. But he also doesn’t want to be in the midwest.

We are 45 mins from college park and my kid only comes home for break. Feels like he is hours away.

What is going on?
UMD: don't want to be there
UIUC: doesn't like Midwest
UNC: doesn't offer aerospace. Barely offers any engineering
