The kids know the bars that will take them. To me it's not the cross to die on as a parent. He rarely drinks (maybe once a month?), is a great student, active in church and nice to his grandparents. I am not going to go ballistic over a fake ID. We care the most about maintaining a relationship and open conversation with our kids.

We learned our DC had one and we confiscated it. We told him that if we learned that he got another, we would remove his access to the car and limit his socializing outside the house.

How do DC private school and UMC suburban public school kids (that drive BMWs, Range Rovers, etc.) have money for clubs? It's a mystery.
