Tsehay Ethiopian restaurant has a vegan section of their menu and all of it is delicious.

Lebanese taverna and other Lebanese restaurants have some options. You may need to do some research before you go.

Another vote for Sunflower Vegetarian in Vienna for asian food - very flavorful and hits the spot when I'm craving Chinese food.

Our favorites are Loving Hut in Falls Church and Sunflower (all vegetarian, 99% vegan) in McLean. In new Crystal City food stalls - DC Dosa and Bubbie's Plant Burger. We also like the vegan options at Busboys and Poets in Shirlington.
In DC - DC Vegan, Equinox (50% vegan) and Bibibop (great vegan options).
In Maryland, worth a trip to Clarksville for Great Sage, in Rockville there's Vegetable Garden and Yuan Fu (another favorite).

Another one with good vegan options is Flower Child in Tyson's (Boro opposite corner diagonally from Whole Foods). It's what I would call upscale fast casual - nicer than Panera but still no table service.

Are you looking for vegan specific places? I’m vegetarian and many cuisines will have good dishes that are naturally vegan/vegetarian. Just make sure things are not made with fish sauce, etc. That is usually much tastier than dishes or products that try to imitate a non vegan thing.
