+1 I guess PP’s snowflake just has to have her boots (Mommy probably makes her) in addition to extra salt in her pocket for those icy patches every am. She probably trained her on the art of changing from boots to regular shoes at middle school. Does she also bring a wet bag to put her boots in when she arrives?

It’s funny that you think you are insulting me, but actually yes I do have my children wear snow boots outside in the snow, change into indoor shoes when they are indoors, and store their wet things appropriately such that they are not making a mess for themselves, me, or other people. I follow these same guidelines for myself. If you’re not incompetent it takes probably an extra 1-2 minutes per day. It sounds like some of you are just too darn lazy to teach your kids to do things the right way, and you’re trying to justify your laziness by pretending it’s impossible or stupid to do things correctly.

Our kids (upperclassmen) in FCPS do not get lockers. They have no place to store snow boots and heavy jackets.
