For u14 It's worth 2 plane tickets to fly out and do a few sessions over a couple days.

Just remember Arlington teams do well at the younger ages but drop like a rock at u15 and up. Those are important ages if you are looking to play in college.

So NVA plays kickball but VDA doesn't? That's funny.


They both cannot compare to the all holy style of the beautiful VA Union. A true ball playing club with all of the right principles.

That is the ONLY VA Union team that has low numbers. Check for yourself. Older age groups have 23-30, U13s have 19. Consider your daughter lucky to be on a team where everyone on the roster gets playing time.

Good point. How does one figure out how many kids on the roster?


Go to the ECNL app or website. You can look at age groups in the mid-Atlantic, click on schedule, click on team, and see the team roster.

Welcome to NoVA youth soccer aka the hunger games. As you can see there is an active army of haters and cheerleaders for every club. You will get a lot of false and questionable information. The landscape of clubs, coaches, leagues will shift often. Trust no one. Form your own opinions.

Brave also smells bad. But they have the best 2008 team around.

1000% avoid! Consider yourself warned...NVA/Loudoun Soccer is just bad. Just do a quick search on Google and Yelp and you will see. Its widespread and has only gotten worse since their old TD Left for a position in California.
