Here we go! As soon as we saw the scented candle!

Why not a little crystal figurine? Maybe an angel or a dove

+1

That sounds perfect! OP you should totally do this.

Seriously the book idea is the best. If she's read it she can pass it along. Alternatively if there are any neat books about her town (Haunted Flint, Michigan or the Railways of Paris, Texas), those are always fun novelties.

How old are you? Late 60s is not "old people "

Late 60's is old enough to have what she needs already. Socks then?

Believe it or not, she may like either cash 💵 or a simple gift card.

Inside a nice greeting card w/a lovely sentiment written inside.

I would not send her a random book to read since you do not know the genre of books she likes to read.

Gifting hand creme is an excellent gift idea…..
All women, especially older ones all can appreciate a quality hand lotion.

Woman in her late-60s, but won’t be able to receive flowers or food-type deliveries. I will be sending this via the mail myself.

Just a small token, something that can be sent in a small shipper with a card. I don’t know any of her interests, so something generic. Around $20.

Is this a thing? I've never heard of this.

Yes, I've never heard if this.

PP here. It’s not a thing per se. I just thought of it, found the little charms (they are really small) and sent them with a note explaining what they meant/how they were intended. Like a creative little random thing, not a trend. He loves to travel the world and I like to hear about his trips. This way I can be with him in a small way. Maybe most people wouldn’t like it, but I thought he might.
