Most of my jeans are from Mother and they don’t get baggy at all.

“Vintage” 100% cotton Ralph Lauren jeans I got on eBay. Those babies are stiff and don’t give an inch. Like wearing a girdle.

Do you put your jeans in the dryer? Try hanging them to dry.

Have you tried kut from the Kloth? I’ve had good luck with their jeans and cords not stretching out. Took a little trial and error before I found the cuts that worked the best for me, but they have a good baby boot cut with a medium rise that is my go to.

I have 100% cotton Levi’s that don’t stretch out easily. I can go several wearings before they look obviously worn.

This is correct. Buy jeans from companies that specialize in jeans (e.g. Levi's) .The maximum amount of stretch should be 2%, but it's even better to go with 100% denim.

No, hadn't thought about it but the real problem is that the thighs get baggy.

This is your problem. You need a belt. It doesn’t matter what the jeans are, if you don’t wear a belt you’re going to be pulling them up all the time. Some people with tiny waists and bigger hips maybe don’t need to, I don’t know, but those of us who are straighter need a belt.
