Even if this is the case the LAIP surely seems to be a respectably staffed organization, and not some schlock group of idiots - not that you are saying that. I doubt they would take on this case for publicity for example (as another PP claims). And they most certainly have other wrongfully incarcerated individuals who need their help and attention, so my only conclusion is they have good cause to at least seriously review the case.

Scott Peterson’s entire family stood staunchly behind him all along. Larry King said that his father paid over 7 figures for Mark Geragos’s fees. I still remember the crowd jeering at the parents as they exited the courthouse after the verdict was announced.


His mom is a real jerk, and repeatedly degraded Laci's reputation and character. They deserve the jeers.

I felt the same way after watching the documentary ("The Murder of Laci Peterson") -- like, I think he's probably guilty, but I don't think the evidence proved he was guilty beyond a reasonable doubt; the jury was certainly swayed by the fact that he had an affair. While there are so many coincidences that point to his guilt, there are also a lot of things that seemingly were not followed up on by the police. I hope the Innocent Project will run these to ground.

There is a documentary about him— can’t remember what streaming service. It talks about how the house, like, right across the street was burgled the morning she went missing and no one really looked into a possible connection. I feel like there was something else too. I didn’t watch that closely but I remember thinking when I watched that it was pretty huge evidence. It did make me question his guilt.

I’m not questioning his guilt because I think he’s a good guy. I remember when this trial was on thinking that there should be some crime in just seeming so much like a guy who would kill his pregnant wife.
