Not going to school on Saturday will impact your child's mental health? Tell them to go play in the snow. Or play a board game with them. Or bake some cupcakes. Just spitballing here.

These are the parents that don't want to hang out with their kids....I feel bad for kids stuck at home with parents like this.

This weekend won't happen....I think you will all survive without basketball by the way other sports and activities are being missed too.

Its really hard to reschedule when an entire day of games are canceled because we can't magically make more gyms appear on other weekends. We have games back to back all day on every scrap of alloted gym space. Our winter permit ends on a certain date. We already have multiple days with canceled games we are trying to reschedule.

Open. The roads are fine. Better than Wednesday when they had school.

streets aren't clear, not on FCPS to handle that end of county operations so not much they can do about it.

As much as I hate to see my kid miss the non-basketball activity scheduled for tomorrow, I think that’s going to be the case. FWIW, Loudoun has already canceled Saturday activities. And I’d bet my street is far from being the only one in Fairfax County that hasn’t seen a plow yet.

Then just put us out of our misery and call it. Why the delay?

No custodians were called in.

I’m wondering about Sunday.

+1, it’s snowing until 5pm. I doubt they’ll even call custodians in.
