For the sake of your job, I'd treat anything listing "CBD" as THC-positive. The farm bill makes a hemp under a certain percentage of THC legal, and a lot of "CBD" comes from hemp that would result in positive tests for THC.

You know what relaxes you? YOU. Learn to meditate, box breathe, journal, take a walk... Build a toolkit instead of staying dependant on substances. If you need something to relax, the problem is you. Address it at the source instead of masking it with this substance or that.

And if your "but it's not booze" substance has kava, "cbd", etc., you're in dangerous cross-addiction territory.

What do y'all do when you can't medicate/drug yourselves to a state of "relaxation"?

The issue with some relaxation drinks is that they're all trying to be too clever. Relaxation drinks have existed for millenia, howewer, these real herbs and ingredients are being substituted with scalable chemicals. There is literally only a handful that are made with basic herbal ingredients that have a proven history of working. A quick search for herbal soft drinks soon brings these to the fore, ie funkyherbs.com [ funkyherbs.com]

Some have CBD but others have other ingredients that can make you feel relaxed or buzzed. It’s not weird. It’s great to have some other options besides alcohol.

What I find weird about it is not knowing what the ingredients actually are.

I’m planning to try this brand too! It looks like some of them have caffeine, which could be problematic in the evening. But lots of interesting ingredients.

Is that the point of alcohol? To relax you?

People think so but scientifically its not what alcohol does.

I drink the CBD one Better than Booz and love it. Effects lasts for hours. Best sleep I've ever had.

My personal experience with these drinks has led to some mixed results, but one standout has been Icey Vlue. This particular beverage combines botanicals and adaptogens that work harmoniously to create a calming effect. After consuming Icey Vlue, I felt a noticeable decrease in my stress levels and a serene sense of relaxation. It's become my go-to drink whenever I need to unwind without the effects of alcohol.

Why does this read more like marketing than a regular post?

I was thinking the same! It's also a brand I've never heard of.

Kombucha often had a little alcohol in it

Yes. But it’s temporary and you (or at least I) tend to feel anxious when the effects wear off so it’s counterproductive.

In terms of the alternative drinks, I think it’s just a placebo effect. I get the same feeling from making any fancy mocktail, or just pouring sparkling water into a fancy glass with a garnish.

For a warm drink, sleepytime tea also works.

We've tried Three Spirit Nightcap. DH likes it but it made me feel foggy the next day. Next we'll try their Social.
