I can see the difference in so many every day things (carrying stuff, being down in a squat with my kids and popping right, better balance because my core is stronger). I never thought I could deal with the repetition of this type of program but the results are legit.

I did three weeks of Rebecca’s and didn’t do a fourth this week. I didn’t notice an increase in my ability to lift more weight but did notice an increase in muscle. I hate the music she chose, though! I should’ve stuck with it for week 4, I think. I went back to the hardcore calendar for the first time in a while this week and haven’t enjoyed the rushing between moves. I have been doing Andy’s classes (love his sunday TS 60 block) and much prefer the rest between moves and focus on form. I loved his TS2 but didn’t do density.

Same - I get bored with the splits around week 3 but they have proven themselves with noticeable improvements to my balance, lower back strength, definitely my lats and shoulders (I no longer automatically feel my traps try to engage to help), and my knee joints are much more stable. I used to see them wobble a little doing squats and lunges but they stay in place now!

Yes! Rebecca just finished up a new “informal” 4 day split to avoid this very issue. Just bookmark the 4 classes (2 upper, 1 lower, 1 full) and take for 4-8 weeks. You don’t have to worry about taking them in a certain sequence or finishing before the week locks up. I’m on week 3 of it and really liking it!

This is one of the schedules she recommends but I do it differently and it doesn’t seem to matter much:
Day 1 – 30 min. Upper Body Strength – Rebecca Kennedy – 1/24/24 @ 10:00am ET
Day 2 – 30 min. Glutes & Legs Strength – Rebecca Kennedy – 1/31/24 @ 10:00am ET
Day 3 – 30 min Upper Body Strength – Rebecca Kennedy – 2/14/24 @ 10:00am ET
Day 5 – 45 min Full Body Strength – Rebecca Kennedy – 2/9/24 @ 1:00pm ET

Hope you like it!

resurrecting this thread because I just finished TS2 with Andy Speer. I really liked it though I don't like that it boxes you into finishing in a week (I had work travel 2 of the weeks so it messed up those weeks). I found TS2 to be medium tough. The only really hard day for me was the final 45 minute class.

Any recommendations for the next program I should take?

I'm on week 4. I agree with PP that there is a lot of back to back to back and its very intense on the grip strength. I had to go down in weights so I didn't see the results that maybe some people saw. I generally like all splits and was a huge fan of TS and TS2. I'm even thinking of trying the German versions LOL

I love Andy but got bored with Density. It works well, it’s straightforward…I just wasn’t excited about it.

Anonymous wrote:Dumb question - how do I find on the app? I used to know, but with new update I'm lost.

From the Home Screen tap on Strength or the second tab (class thumbnails), then navigate to the Programs tab at the top. They make it really difficult to find these for some reason!

I know you’re just being snarky but for the benefit of other people who might be reading this it’s a four week program with different classes every week designed for you to see growth over the length of the program

I’m not being snarky. I thought the splits were 3-5 classes that you watch over and over each week to see how you improve in weight or reps.

This is not part of the splits, this is a new program from Adrian. Sorry people can be kind of weirdly anti peloton here sometimes.

Naw, I have the app subscription and use it multiple times a week. I have my own treadmill and use the app on the TV. It's fun, I'm a fan. Worth $24. But I just search for treadmill and Strength for Runners. I haven't explored much else.

I enjoy lifting heavy weights but I prefer to have more rest between sets when I’m holding a lot of weight. This program reminds me of the BeachBody program Body Beast that I probably did about 10 years that I never finished because I hated leg day so much lol. We’ll see how far I get with it.

FWIW, I really like RK’s 5-day split where you lift heavy AND get plenty of rest between sets. Plus, it’s a full body program.

Are you also working your chest and back? If so, are you just choosing random workouts to fill in the gaps?

RK’s 5 day split has 3 leg days. Hard no on that many leg days.
