Only a matter of time before he escalates to killing someone. He needs to be institutionalized immediately.

Reyan Ibrahim is also the same suspect who was arrested for three incidents of destruction of property, estimated at approximately $20,000 in November 2023, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. The sheriff's office said he is accused of destroying the electronic menu board at a McDonald's drive-thru, breaking a bottle of wine and the entrance door at a Sheetz and breaking glass entrance doors at a Chick-fil-A.

Be real. He broke the drive thru menu screen at a McDonald's and some glass entrance doors. Those aren't really "lock 'em up" crimes.

If he continues doing this stuff it's "lock him up" material. Violent serial offenders who kill animals and destroy property need to be taken off the street. And often people who torture or kill animals graduate to doing the same to people.

That's not even a "punishment" thing, it's a public safety issue. IF he can be treated for his medical illness, he could be returned to the community but not before.

I am sure we don't want to infringe on his right to political protest. I understand that destruction of private property is tolerated if your cause is worthy.

Are you an idiot and a horrible person?

Both, sometimes. I was wondering if the dog had threatened the person first. It appears not.

A walking stick or a baton would be better for this purpose. (Batons are legal in Virginia but not in DC.)

That's shocking. Did they know each other or was it a random attack?
