2-3 inches on bridges that wont yet be cleared?
Why wouldn't they be cleared?
They treated roads over the weekend, the treatment chemicals have now washed off. Some roads are wet and will freeze tonight especially bridges, then the 1-4 inches of snow will stick to the roads.
Are you one of those parents that lives in VA and sends their kid to DC schools and expects the schools to close every time it snows? We live one block from my children's private and they can walk easily. I hope schools do not close.

They don't get 'weather/snow days'. They are fully equipped to run school virtually.
Anonymous wrote:Our private K-8 follows mcps. I’m assuming because this makes it easy. I’m hoping mcps calls a delay tonight so we can plan already.

Applications for the first private to close will skyrocket as they will be proven leaders - not sheep!
Roads are clear in DC
Yes, the concern is not about current conditions...This event is not over, re-freeze, more snow and freezing rain coming.
