Most kids leaves when they're 3.5 or at 4 years old

It depends on the daycare. I toured several in home daycare that caters to older children so they actually have more preschool aged kids than infants & toddlers. A few of them even have age restrictions and require potty training just like a traditional preschool. They’re rarer than the ones that cater to younger children because it is more difficult to compete for preschoolers due to them having more options, but there are some really good ones out there.

Highly recommend Dalbir Kaur in Arlington. She cared for my 2 who are now young adults, and I remain in touch with her. She is in Arlington, 22207. She is on the state list linked upthread.

Don't listen to them. Find a daycare now and probably you have to pay a holding the spot fee to secure the spot for your child
I paid monthly for 6 months and that spot was definitely for my baby
