Really depends on both their maturity levels. When I was 21/22 I exclusively dated woman in the 27-35 age range mostly for maturity reasons, but a lot of it was compatibility issues including financial compatibility. Friday night I was going to be at nice restaurant followed by good lounge or nice restaurant/hotel bar. Not pre partying at someone’s apartment and then going to party bar/club. Also I travelled frequently and I was going to stay at a nice resort or city center hotel. Most people my age weren’t up for that.

I agree.

My mom was six years older than my dad and they were married until she died. As far as I know, no one paid any attention to their age difference and I doubt if very many people even knew about it. Though my dad's friends told him to watch out for her when they were dating, because they said she was a "man eater."

Your bigger problem is that she is in an underpaid office job at 29. She is college educated she should be near the six figure mark by now. Does she have low self esteem? That might explain why she isn’t dating someone her age.
