My main bedroom has two walk in closets. A suitcase/storage closet, two huge separate vanities

Bowl sinks. This was extremely popular for about a decade (like 2000-2010) especially in power rooms, but sometimes you find them even in master baths. I think they are hideous.

I HATE these. Besides being ugly, they're impractical for washing your face. Water ends up all over.

Open shelving in kitchens. I just cannot commit to that aesthetic of owning like 6 plates/bowls/mugs that all match and look good displayed up there. I need cabinets!

Absolutely! We have them in our bedroom and have been trying to figure out/decide on ways to either remove and replace with normal rectangular windows (obviously expensive) or somehow cover the top semi-circle, which currently has no covering whatsoever because they're all useless or ugly. We can't even put curtains all the way across because we have a cathedral ceiling.

Two story foyers. All-over marble bathrooms. Tubs with the sliding glass door thing. Doors that lead to outside in bedrooms.

Split level homes, walk in the door and immediately have to make a decision.

Plus one on the double sinks! I hate them so much. Could not afford a full kitchen reno on the new house, the first thing I did was pay a thousand bucks to have the granite countertop re-cut for a single basin sink. Every day I congratulate myself on making that decision.

We had this in one house. It was actually annoying because sometimes I throw a load in before bed, or move it to the dryer, and the noise would keel me awake so I couldn’t. I like it in the basement.

I don’t always mind it in the kitchen, depending on the design. But maybe that’s because I’m clumsy and frequently drop stuff!

For me the following are things I am not a fan of:
1. Tile in kitchen (especially if living room is all wood, but then kitchen is tile)
2. LVP
3. White appliance (easy to change but boy are they ugly)
4. House with different colored walls in each room (or worse odd wall color choice for all rooms...for example yellow)
5. Linoleum countertop

French doors in bedrooms. I don't feel like they're as secure as a single door when locked, and I want to be able to lock my bedroom door in case of a home invasion (or just to keep the dog/kids out). My current bedroom has french doors that don't even lock and can be pushed open from the outside.

Jeeez...I'm the opposite. I don't have a walk in closet (1954 house), it's just a reach-in so I really wish I had one. I don't have a ton of clothing or shoes but a walk-in would allow me to see what I have in my closet that right now I can't see some items are tucked away into a small corner in the back of the closet. So then I end up forgetting I have XYZ article of clothing and never end up wearing it. I'm totally fine with a small bathroom, with a shower only, so long as it has a double sink. All this nonsense about two adults sharing the same sink is insanity to me. And gross.

Lol, a bedroom and full bath on the main floor is a must have in my next house because my parents are becoming old people, so maybe that's why?

Bathtubs in main (master) bath. What a waste of space.
