But then on top of that horrifying hem length, the fit seems off? Not as bad as a few other examples, but the puckering around her midsection can't just be about the fabric and her posture (she always stands like that, and she's not that slouched). I feel like maybe in getting the bodice to fit perfectly (which it does), it throws off the rest of the dress and maybe indicates that this was just the wrong pull for her generally. The neckline is nice on her but the rest is just not.
I like the color on her -- with her dark skin she can pull off this shade of pale gold. In general, I hate it when all the pale skinned women wear those washed out neutrals -- it looks so bad on them. (I'm a pale skinned white woman, and I know not to wear pale beige!). I love the top of the dress, but I agree that the midsection fit seems off -- I'm also not crazy about how the trimming thing widens as it goes down.

I like Debicki's necklaces and Stones hairstyle. Stones shoes are boring AF.

Love these dresses but they both look like they are just sliding off them. I would hike them each up by an inch or two.

I think it's the color of the pants. Beige strikes again! I'm imagining this with a really rich navy for the pants and I think it's better.

Anonymous wrote:Robbie looks amazing. Dresses with that kind of severe geometry at the bust can look horrific or create skin spillage even on the skinny - Meghan Markle wore a Herrera with that kind of severity once and it was so bad. The fit on Margot Robbie couldn’t have been done any better. I like the humor of riding tnat Barbie pink to the bitter end.

I think the fashion is really terrible at this show. I'll post some favorites eventually but mostly I'm going to post what look like fails for me. The two themes I see so far are:
- Uninspired neutrals. So much beige. Also, just an FYI, shiny beige is just shiny beige.
- Horrible fits. Like so bad I checked to see if there was some kind of seamstress strike going on. And on very high profile stars. Totally insane to see fitting errors on people like Margot Robbie and Quinta Brunson at such a high profile event.
