I have a trip in 2 days, I will probably mask for that. I don't care if it's covid or norovirus or whatever - I don't want it.
Norovirus doesn't cause coughing and isn't airborne so a mask has nothing to do with it. Wash your hands frequently and be careful about who handles your food.
I've successfully avoided getting norovirus from my kid while taking care of her (unmasked). It's avoidable with vigilant hygiene.
My kid and husband are nail biters and my kid got a nasty stomach bug on our last trip. I'll probably put them in a mask on our next trip during cold/flu season to keep their hands out of their mouth, and also to protect against airborne stuff. We'll probably all put on masks so they don't complain they're the only ones. Getting sick on vacation is no fun.

Do you mask on Metro? I mean, it’s not better to take the train or bus around DC. If you’re not masking here, why would that change at the airport?
Because COVID only strikes at the airport, duh! This virus is so smart! What CAN'T it do????

Anonymous wrote:I don’t mask any longer and rarely see anyone on a plane with a mask. Maybe like 3-4 people per flight. (I’m a frequent flyer)

Norovirus is airborne and you can be infected if you are round the people who is throwing up and you are next to them.
