This happened with me and Alexander Skarsgard. I had never watched True Blood so was not familiar with him but watched The Diary of a Teenage Girl (several years after it came out), then remembered how attractive he was in Big Little Lies and then had to see what else he was in!

Here’s my weird celeb crush thing, which I don’t really know how to explain. I get crushes on the younger versions of older or deceased actors. For example, I went through a Marlon Brando period, watching and rewatching his movies from the 1950s. I’ve also had crushes on James Dean and Robert Redford.

I mean we all crushed a bit on the Poldark guy. We all love Thor. Etc. I didn’t start constantly googling them.

I am super crushing and it’s embarrassing. I’m like, what if I ever bumped into him? What kind of girls has he dated? Oh they look like me, just more toned and fit. Huh!

Dear heaven, years ago I too had a brief Lindsey Buckingham thing. The guitar chops, the songwriting, the strange but cool voice, and yeah, those angular good looks. We didn't last, Lindsey and me, but this thread is giving me fond memories.

Omg. I just googled Lindsey Buckingham. lol. Whatever floats yer boat pp. As a teenager, I had a massive crush on the kid who played Pony Boy in the 90s remake tv series of The Outsiders, who I see has been in a bunch of stuff and is not at all my adult self’s physical type.
