Probably because we all moved away from Dupont Circle when we had kids. But yes, Kramerbooks is great.

I love Loyalty Books but if you want anything besides LGBTQ+ or BIPOC, you need to order it. Even super liberal/crunchy books that happen to be written by a white person need to be ordered. I get that they're reversing centuries of discrimination, and I'm here for it, but I can't do a diet of that forever.

OP here. I stumbled upon Birch Tree last year and thought it was adorable. Bonus is that it is also a plant shop (or connected to one).

If you are out that way also try the recently opened Middleburg books.
