If used to be hosted by the Adventure theater in Glen Echo who handled the coaching, teaching and tickets and what not which was fun. unfortunately they ran into turmoil and had a leadership change so the school had to start hosting it last year.
Anonymous wrote:Our Bethesda elementary school does a holiday sing-along where the all the kids perform grade-by-grade. The school chorus also does a few songs. I'm surprised that this is not more common. They perform Hannukah, Kwanzaa, and Christmas songs but none with heavy religious themes. Its cute.

Some do a holiday program, some do a concert in January, some do something in the spring. Some schools involve all the grade levels, others just the older kids. Some schools do a play. Sometimes the chorus and instrumental music kids perform together, sometimes not. It's up to the staff and admin at each school to decide what to do.
