I keep reading that the weight loss experienced by most people on these drugs includes much more muscle loss than other methods (with the exception of bariatric surgery). I don’t want to lose muscle and end up “skinny fat”.

It's hard to get your hands on now, though, isn't it?
Yes. I have been on it for almost a year (though I didn’t lose as much as I had hoped). I haven’t been able to get it for two months, during which time I have regained most of the weight I had lost.
I love it

I also crave alcohol and would love to see if that works for that as well. I don't drink too much, but that noise is really annoying and constant. I'd love to be able to cut out alcohol entirely, but I'm down to 1 day a week at most.
Be careful. I am on Wegovy and also have the alcohol cravings. I didn't stop drinking for the first six months & didn't lose much weight at all. When I stopped drinking completely (and Wegovy doesn't help me not crave it), I lost the weight. It makes sense. It's not a magic solution.

I was able to get the rx from my regular doctor and although the insurance approval process has been a pain a few times it hasn’t been as bad as I thought it would be. I had to drive to a pharmacy in Herndon once to fill the rx but otherwise have only had to go to maybe 2 pharmacies (cvs) all relatively close to me.
I havent had any bad side effects. I have some loose skin on my upper arms which is a bummer but its better than a lot of fat on my upper arms instead. Im doing strength training to remedy that as much as possible.
The difference in my appetite, ability to say “no” to food, and general “food noise” is incredible. I had to force myself to eat a Reeses Xmas tree the other day when in the past I would have eaten the whole pack without thinking.

Can anyone relate?

Eat less. Eat more fruits and vegetables. Move more. Stop drinking your calories. That's it.
OP here. I mean, yeah, I do know how to lose weight. (In fact, in the past 6 months I’ve lost 40lbs following the birth of my second child.) All I’m saying is that it would be nice to not have to struggle so hard.
