An official report requires submitting my email address to the ad vendor, so that’s not going to happen. I have a screenshot but am not sure how to paste that in to a message.

You can read instructions for posting an image in our FAQ (linked on the left sidebar) or email the image to me at admin at dcurbanmom.com.

Adding more detail in case it’s helpful: it blocks out all content and says “please rotate your device.” Won’t let me scroll past it (although sometimes it functions as intended and does allow the scroll; it seems to be intermittently malfunctioning). When I rotate my device, the ad is for CareFirst, and I still can’t scroll past it.

I’m on an iPad in Safari. I just opened the same thread in Firefox, and it’s feeding a different ad that behaves properly (Purdue Global).

Hope this helps.

This has been happening to me too on a PC in the Metro DC forum

I’m having trouble loading the pages on my iPad lately, and assume this is due to ads. I have to close out of the site and get back on as only half a page will load and then it freezes. This is just in the past week or so.

It is so bad tonight. I am reading someone’s post and suddenly it’s completely gone. I have to scroll back up to read it.
